Instant Noodles for your Health

Who is in this world never eat instant noodles? Yes, the food is indeed one of the cheap and addictive food. Once ate noodles, you will want its savory and its delicious again and again. Do not be surprised if there are people who consume it everyday even though they know the dangers of consuming a lot of noodles.

The habit of eating noodles that is usually when the main meal has run out. Eating noodles is considered more practical and faster. It only takes no more than five minutes, noodles ready to eat.

Let's see what the content of instant noodles and how dangers for your health.
Noodles made from a mixture of flour, vegetable oil, salt, and a few additional ingredients (additive) such as sodium polyphosphate (as an emulsifier/stabilizer), sodium carbonate and potassium carbonate which serves as a regulator of acid. In addition, the noodles were also added yellow dye (tartrazine). In pack of noodles also available noodle seasoning that contains a lot of salt, peppers, and other spices. Instant noodle seasoning also made from food additive such as MSG (monosodium glutamate) which serves as flavor enhancer.

Surprisingly, the research laboratories of Medicine Faculty, Indonesia University proved that 100% or the entire sample of instant noodles on the market contain plastic material which is very harmful to digestion. Plastic materials cannot be digested in our digestive system. Plastic is the material that cannot be decomposed naturally and it is very dangerous for consumption.

The extremely dangerous contents are not consumed by the body. Moreover, if we consume it for a long time with very high intensity.

ITS DANGERS
Here are some of the dangers of eating instant noodles.

  • Inhibiting the absorption of nutrients. Instant noodles will inhibit and limit the absorption of nutrient from food. Especially, those under 5 years of age, not recommended consuming noodles at all. These noodles are dangerous if preventing the absorption of nutrients. Children can be malnourished, stunted, and even slow its development.
  • Causing cancer. Some instant noodles packed in styrofoam, eg noodle packaging such as cups, bowls, where styrofoam is a cancer-causing agent. Mainly, instant noodles just served with hot water soaked. When exposed to heat, the chemicals in styrofoam will also react. Just imagine what if it is soluble and get into the body.
  • Causing miscarriage. Several case of miscarriage because they are too often consume instant noodles. In fact, instant noodles have detrimental effects on the fetus and eventually miscarriage happen.
  • Messing up your metabolism. When consumed instant noodles continuously and in a long period time, it can mess up your metabolism. Accumulation of harmful chemicals such as preservative and dye will be toxic in the body.
  • Containing propylene glycol. Propylene glycol is a type of anti-freeze material which will prevent the noodles going dry. When the body absorb it, it will be stacked in the liver area and kidneys. This will cause damage to the body and will weaken the immune system.
  • Hazarding for digestion. When consumed more than once a day, so instant noodles potentially harmful the digestive. The first problem that emerges is a sense of fullness, constipation, and discomfort.
  • Causing obesity. Eating instant noodles regularly also cause obesity. Total fat and high sodium in instant noodles can cause no absorption in the body and will stay accumulate as fat. No wonder if it can cause you gain weight in short time. 
  • Containing MSG. MSG or flavoring which are contained in instant noodles is quite high. People who are allergic to MSG usually feel always thirsty, heartburn, headache, flushed face and shortness of breath.
  • Containing sodium. Instant noodles are also rich in sodium that can cause high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and kidney damage. Especially if frequently consumed, the potential of developing the disease is very high.
  • Instant noodles are also junk food. Instant noodles is a junk food with high in carbohydrates and no vitamins, minerals, and fibers. Saturated fat content is also high in calories so it gives a bad influence for health.
